Same as you, I initially thought she was the first Elezen-Hyur offspring they've shown to us, but didn't make the connection until recently. Had one and one but didn't make two ... hah. Another very interesting part of this cs (Main Scenario > "The Road Less Travelled") is when Lucia is speaking. The camera angle, zoom, her expression and the tension put into the scene - along with her words - are so obvious when you know what she is. It's undeniable.

[Lucia]: "Those who dwell in the past risk losing sight of their future."

Well I like to say about Yoshi hiding things...you know they had a rogue in the leviathan promotional art, as well as the scholar in the promo art prior to 2.0 launch which was caught and picked up by everyone. There is no point in hiding things people shouldn't be looking for, so having them there makes it more interesting in my opinion.
