Sounds like =/= is, especially considering glamours and that people have several classes maxxed

Maybe you can't get the picture because your only fighting classes are WHM, SCH and SMN, who at most take three separate left-side gear sets and only two right-side sets. But people who level all DoW/DoM (not going to bring up DoHs because those are justified by the lv50 cross classes) usually do it to actually use them. I enter duties as all of my classes on a daily basis, because I need to get them geared up, and have to have that Need roll unlocked or I'll lose lot. Most importantly, I play them all because playing just one style over and over bores me.

Just because you chose to specialize in one type of class doesn't mean everyone does the same as you do. The problem is clearly out there and by Spring 2015 it will need to be addressed.

Every DoH and DoL class currently has unique (left side) gear for each class taking up space in the armoury chest. That takes up quite a bit of space. It's not even an issue of hoarding for crafters. They designed the system with not enough space in it.

no they have design a system but did had trouble link to the ps3 and did limit the number of item in the arsenal, we did ask to increase the number while the beta, and it was what they have answer us.

I thought about that as well, my armory is gonna explode

As someone who has all classes to 50 and actually uses them... you have no idea xD

Bumping this thread because coming Heavensward, we'll have to deal with three new jobs.

That means that if you have all jobs leveled and want to be able to access them all at any time, your Weapons slot in the Armoury Chest will be at 23/25. And that's if you only have one weapon per class.

I really would like some insight from the developers at this point.

Sadly, SE didn't completely follow through on their monk and ninja will share gear promise. Monk gear prior to 2.4 got retconed to be Ninja gear to, but every piece of gear thereafter has been seperate, which in my opinion is kijda dumb. The gear even looks the same, just different colors.

Also on a semi unrelated note, while I want more gear space like everyone else, I hope we get more then only 3 new jobs. To be honest we were promised more than 3, and if we only get 3 new ones that is going to get pretty boring fast, regardless of the new level cap. Face it without more tank and healing jobs, duty finder queues are just going to get worse.

That was exactly what they had promised. Ninjas would share old gear with Monks, but new gear would be separate.
