PETITION - Personal Housing

The price is almost irrelevant next to the amount of plots provided.

Even if they were 80times cheaper the plots (even if they were doubled!) are only enough for a small tiny fraction of a fraction of the playerbase.

And that's not even including the 855.000+ FC who are competing (with pooled gil!) for the same plots.

The whole thing being marketed as personal housing for the players is a total lie.

Players did not get personal housing with this fiasco. A few select individuals among players got the same system that already existed in the game.

All this time they stalled by saying they're working on personal housing is a lie. They just lifted a restriction from existing content essentially ruining it's whole purpose in the process.

personal housing =/= FC housing, they must make them different, it was not needed to have a house with a big garden, but a sort of condo with a balcony in the city... it was easier to make this than what we have.

Get few FC members who need gils, do a party, put synth buff on, get some gear i45+ from Mor Dhona and/or crafter farm/synth & sell. With few IV materia who sell over 600K that can be quick.
And if you quick enought you can get a small house on the gobelet for 1M5 to 2M if you check the old wards where the price is lower.

On my server, me and 5 of my guildmates take a house next to each other for this price.

Some people like being in a virtual neighborhood. Others just want a House to call their own. Why can't we just have both?

A Room =/= a House.

Also, people without a FC House? Main reason Private Rooms should have been Private Inn Rooms from the beginning.

If absolutely everyone could have a Private Room, I'm sure that would reduce a lot of the tension, but they opted to lock that behind FC Housing for Gods knows what reason. I don't know about everyone else, but they probably could just work Private Rooms into an instanced Personal Housing; there are plenty Inns around Eorzea, they could just give us a room with a balcony for us to customize. Why didn't they do that over the past nine months, instead of the literal nothing they actually did?

I'm sure some people would still want an actual House to customize, but meh. In a debate of instanced verses non-instanced, I really don't get why we can't have both...

Yeah, they need a ton more if they want a reasonable amount of people to be able to get one.
The ward system was a cool idea on paper, but if the implementation is so taxing for square that they not only have to share it with the Free Companies, but also only get a few new wards every month, maybe it wasn't such a good idea at all.

What if your housing is instanced, and you get to choose the backdrop beyond the garden fence? I for sure would love to have a permanent snowy background with glittering Starlight Celebration lights, or have a house in the middle of a sparkling blue lake. All include weather effects and day/night. But I'm not sure how much server load it will take up.

What if I don't want to team up with random people? What if I don't have said FC or resources for all we care?
