Improvements to the Action Bar and Unit Frames ?

SE need to start up a scheme for those who think that SE aren't doing a good job. This scheme will involve given said person a chance to go to the studio and see if they can improve on -anything- and if they do, they win a free chocobo toy or something..

I'd just love to see these people who say things like "OMG they take too long to release new content!" or "6 months to create ONE armour set? that's ridiculous!" or "OMG They are wasting their time on things that don't matter instead of improving the more important things!" go to the studio and see how much work and how efficient they are at their jobs, and I'd be amazed if anyone actually managed to improve the efficiency of anything apart from maybe getting someone in to fix a broken vending machine in the building...

Fighting in Thanalan was a helluva HELL, because you couldn't see the friggin' skill you were using.

You guys think this has low priority? Then you don't play in Thanalan/at all =)

now add the damn second action row so we can play this game like it's 2011

I play using the keyboard and the number row so this isnt something that concerns me too much. However, something drawing more attention to party hp/mp isnt too bad an idea.

I still don't understand why people keep saying "Seeing all action bars is modern"

I don't see it as a modern vs outdated issue
Its a choice, based not on time, but on how much screen real estate the UI should get.
I personally love that the UI doesn't take up much of the screen. I hate games where the UI completely wraps the entire screen. Now THAT is messy and antiquated.

I definately have trouble seeing which action I'm scrolling over, this is a nice change. Why would someone complain about improvements...

Now add classic FF fly-out menus so we can play like it's 1989!


Honestly as a controller user FF I-XI method of using spells is a lot faster and gives the player a lot more options because you're not limited to spamming only few skills for years.

yeh, i remember a JP rep commenting on this on the JP forums when 1.18 first came out.

so if you look on the bright side, they implemented this fix fairly quickly since it was a big issue for different regions of the community.
