Odin's Shield; Will we ever get this?

Only reason I'm asking is because there are very few shields that look decent with the Odin attire. One of these shields is the Allagan shield. But even then it still doesn't match well.

I can't agree enough with you. I really wish we can get Odin's shield, mantle and most importantly, Sleipnir. Maybe Odin-theme weapons for all jobs too. As for the mantle's graphical issue, maybe they can set it such than only systems that can run maximum graphic settings will be able to see it or only you yourself can see it? Hell, I'll even take it if it's just a piece of plate instead of cloth.

And if we are ever going to get Sleipnir... please, please for the love of Hydaelyn, don't make it as a reward for collecting all primal mounts...

Well, to be fair, almost half of the FF series have a 6-legged Sleipnir.

Shield would be cool. Upped appearance rate for Odin would be nicer.

Shield drops from his upcoming instanced fight, obviously.

If they do give us a matching shield, let there be a choice of tower shield or buckler.

Or just drop a shield like THIS somewhere else:

I really hope to see more story about Odin. What we have is woefully inadequate. I want to know more about who and what he is. We need to fight him again somehow, perhaps have a way to upgrade the sword and armor to make it more usable (instead of just glamour).

It's sad that this wasn't kept. D:
