Here's an idea; how about Ronso as a playable Race?

You know after this was brought up, I really felt like Ronso could have been a popular racial choice. Much more so than Roegadyn.

i like when people ask for stuff that will look different than hyur, but did you check the result about the race that was shown?

you can see that the roe that are the less human like in the size are the less played...why? because player want nice looking race, they don't care about the wierd looking one.
is not only in FF14, in every mmorpg, if you look at it, people often prefer play a race they can identify themself into it. then i dunno what they have plan with the yugiri's race but i doubt we will get something totally animal look like.

No thanks. I don't want furries in my FF14. And yes, Kimahri was a pretty useless character in FF10.

On that note, why is it that so many other RPG's out there feel the need to have humanoid characters with lion heads?? It just freaks me out...

Na I think shes dragon race from FFtactics advanced 2.

the horn looking things on her head are too stiff and why would she cover up her ears when they don't cover them up in other games.


Plus they should do another vote with those races things and add more, I bet they get another answer, I didn't get to vote last time and sure other's haven't either.

Whatever races we get, keep 'em pretty. :-3

For a 'beastial' race, I'd say something more like the transformation used by Beasts in PSU would be a good level to shoot for.

I'd honestly rather have something more like what I originally envisioned the Sylvari from GW2 as though; lanky, thin, sullen, solid-colour eyes, long, claw-like fingers, and partially bioluminescent (which was the only part we got). Sort of an unsettling sort of beauty like some type of Dark Faerie.
