I just want to play Frontlines...

I normally queue solo on two toons one is maelstrom the other adder, both rank 40s. i wait 30+ minutes for every damn thing no matter what spec, healer, ranged or melee dps on Primal datacenter

If the system didn't take your queued class into account, getting into groups with zero healers would be far far more common than it already is. Also (the one part I can prove) if the game didn't care about your class, your 'average wait time' should be the same for all classes, but if you check, they're generally different.

Just because the system allows you to change classes once you're in, doesn't mean that it doesn't factor it into queue decisions. They know most people aren't going to change classes.

There is no difference for my que time when I queued as Monk, Bard, Archer, and Paladin. It is a delusion if you think it is matters. It is also not first time that there is no healer in the Twin Adders.

Class has zero to do with it I saw one match que up 8 tanks. Oh god why do people que as tank. Might as well put I lose button at the starting point.

I would like some clarification on pvp ques. Why doesn't it down scale. If 17 people are in a que why do they have to wait. Why not down scale, maybe have 16 man option. How can a company get 15/24 to start. Three minute wait and 45 second entrance It must go through a few people before start.

So those multiple matches where I'm literally the only healer out of all 3 alliances, those dont count right?

A good tank is invaluable. I guess you won't be seeing that much among the FL generation of players though.

Back to the point. Please fix the rediculous queue times. Introduce mercenary, fix the downscale, get rid of the GC restriction...I dont care, just please do something about the 30 min + queues.

Swapped back and forth between BRD + SCH. The queue times stayed the same for each job, so it's not recalculating every time I re-queue. They are different depending on what you queue on. Healer queues fastest? Surprise surprise.

I said the system tries to make decent groups, not that it's a guarantee. If the queue takes long enough, it will make shitty groups.

Average wait timer is just a system level thing done on a per-role basis (Tank/Healer/Melee/Ranged). It has zero bearing on your queue times in Frontline.

Yoshida already said it, the DF estimate the time you have to wait by how long it took to the last person that tagged with the same job as you to enter. In that case let's say a scholar entered the FL and a party was not full so after 1min of wait till everyone accept, plus 2 minutes inside until the DF start to fill hole in teams when the game actually start (wich is stupid), then you can easily see how the bard had to wait 3 min more to get in.

There's no class search here, it isn't that uncommon to enter game without any tank or healer.
