Someone please explain how to SP solo.

agreed, seems odd you're saying you play all day but dont have time for a party? how does that work

If you are wanting to solo by only doing leves—then yes, it will take you forever to level.

You do them on 3 stars, that's what you are doing wrong. I finish my leves in 3~4 minutes and get 4000sp (incl. sp from mobs).

I think you can level at least 3 classes to r50 in one month, atm. But if you just want to do leves its your fault.

Ah just wait for 1.19 or 1.20. Yoshi said they will re-do the leve-system once again. You can pile up your leves during the week and do them @weekends so you can basically spam them there.

My Archer is 38 and I've yet to come across some urge to play. Logging in here and there but nothing serious. Maybe it's because I miss old FFXI homies :( but oh well~

I honestly don't think that's should be viable, healthy, or fun in an MMO to rank up to max in a month solo. Grouping should be emphasized in an MMO. If solo becomes so lucrative, it hurts the party pool when looking for available party members. Solo has been drastically reduced though and I'm not sure if I agree completely with the changes in regards to that. There is a lot of content to do solo but I don't think the pace is on par with what a lot of solo players want. I personally prefer grouping but I can understand a soloer's plight in this regard.

The task board is a sort of min-leve type system found next to the leve counter that asks for certain materials themed from each gathering and crafting guild. It's a simple fetch quest which requirements change daily (5PM PST). You don't have to be a crafter to complete them you only need the item and whatever class you turn the items in on is the class you get SP for regardless of the guild you turn them in to.

The SP isn't amazing but it's something. I mainly do it for the random crystal/shard rewards. As a crafter that's what I get the most benefit from.

Have you tried raising or lowering the stars?

The difficulty and speed you complete the leve affect the bonus you receive at the end.

2 stars complete @ like 2mins might have a better bonus the 3 stars @ 8mins. And the sp per mob could be the same.
