Things this game should have had 6 months ago.

Normally I would agree with the beating a dead horse comments that have been made. We're getting close to the 1 year mark and while I'm encouraged by the changes that they have introduced in 1.18. I'm still a bit anxious based on what we've seen implemented so far.

They've been touting the introduction of companies for months and months now and all we got was 3 or 4 quests. The settlements look really cool but right now are just a new bit of landscape to look at as we run to an aetherite. We've been able to see chocobos and airships in the game since day 1 but it's been 9 months and we're still hoofing it from place to place. The only thing the OP got wrong in my opinion was the title of the post. It should have read things that should have been in the game since day 1. /endrant

Over 10 months actually.

Maybe if they keep it up with the bad publicity, people will remember FFXIV even exists when Tera rolls around.

6 is coming with 1.19, 9 maybe too
10 is coming later

That's because it's so overly complicated and only allows you to search for a single class per search. It promotes pigeonholing by not allowing users to asses whats available and determine how to put a party together.

Every last one of OP's bullet points have been addressed many times and most of which has already been confirmed as will be implemented at some point. The few that remain have either been resolutely shot down or explained as impossible. There is no need to rehash any of this...again.

Yes, yes. You know a lot of these things should have been here from the start. I know it. They know it too. Everyone knows it. At this point it is just crying over spilled milk. Stop it.

Whenever I read threads like this it makes me realise how much work the game still needs and then it makes me sad. :(

I agree with everything the OP said, but a lot of that stuff is coming/getting looked at/worked on so I am okay with it. It's all just a matter of when and how.
