Why are elite hunts so valuable? What are the devs thoughts?

I realize a lot of people already have their soldiery gear but it is weekly capped. So for newer players, CT is still viable.

The problem is that reward ratio does not scale up. Hunting party has become the FATE party of 2013. If they advertise this as casual activities then it should have the least amount of rewards compared to dungeon. All they need to do is revamp the dungeon rewards of the lower level dungeons so that it's easier for you to play catch up gear wise to at least level 90. Look, it's a grind, we all know it, Hunting Grind is much faster reward in comparison to the actual dungeon grinds. All they have to do is give us Allied Seals reward on dungeons, and for every mini boss you clear before the big boss, you get multiplier, so if you clear them all, your reward is far greater than doing hunts.

Last night I was fishing in Coerthas and it began to snow. You want to know what my very first thought was? "Here it comes... a Naul spawn and a total /shout fight complete with cussing and blacklisting."

You know... I'm just fishing and the sight of snow causes me instant grief because of the hunt system. Yet why, WHY is there this complete radio silence about this problem. The hunt system is rewarding players for terrible behavior. The hunt system rewards are obscenely imbalanced. Yet we get nothing. No dev response, no real adjustment, silence...

Nop, personnaly i would prefer people coming nowing the strat for boss and to do their job... unfortunately i've seen more ilvl 100+ unskilled than that...

It would be awesome if there was another path to i110 for ST & Primal gear. Doesn't have to be sands, and it doesn't even have to be right now. But *something* before 2.4 hits so that getting the ST & primal gear didn't feel so "useless" because you'd be able to upgrade it later, same as the weathered gear.

Am I the only person who thinks that SE purposely created hunts to have this kind of effect in the community?

Apart from the solo/small party thing I've never had any issues with hunts. I normally sit in an 8 man FC only group connected to other groups via LS. Bickering? Irrelevant, I don't care what random nobodies think.

And are people overlooking that this is the Casual patch on the usual casual/hardcore patch cycle?
