Plane tickets are alot cheaper the earlier you book. And when it gets closer to the date you wanna book, the price skyrockets ridiculously. I understand why you bought early but for something like this where you were not 100% sure you can attend wasnt such a good idea

Got lucky, managed to get 2 of the last 9 tickets.
But yeah, I understand your frustration. While airfare isn't a thing for me (fly private so fuel is my only expense) I know missing out because of a flimsy event site's server is disheartening and sucks for anyone.

Flights don't double in price in 2 weeks time. Especially not that far in advance.
What people never do is delete their cookies when revisiting the sites that sell airplane tickets. The more often you visit the higher the prices go. Delete your cookies and save a fortune. Its amazing how little people know this. -
