What's stopping us from queueing without a job?

You don't have to abide by anything. Opting out of using a job crystal is not and never will be a viable reason to use vote kick on someone. Of the reasons you can vote kick someone, not using a job crystal is not one of them. If you use the vote kick feature just because you see someone not using a job crystal is misuse of vote kick. Plain and simple.

You lose too many useful skills and stats to be of any real use to your party without your soul crystal. Want examples? Let's go...

Gladiator: Good luck tanking without Shield Oath against high DPS classes. Also, enjoy your lower HP margin and no Hallowed Ground.
Conjurer: No Regen, no Benediction, no Divine Seal. Three of your most powerful skills lost in a heartbeat. Also, lower Mind.
Arcanist: Carbuncle's only, classed as a DPS so no healing potential beyond Physick. No Fester or other truly damaging skills.

The other catch is that myth armor, relic and zodiac wepaons are locked to jobs, not classes. So unless you're sporting a full set of weathered gear, your stats are going to suffer in addition to the lack of a soul crystal.

Sometimes when I feel like using Carbuncle because reasons I queue as Arcanist in trial roulette. I never get vote kicked lol. People never even say anything.

This is mostly referred to pre-made parties. If you join a party and the leader (overall party members) don't like the fact that you are on a class and not on a job, then that is understandable. But if this is happening within a PUG'd group, then it's different. You can't switch jobs once you're in a duty. So if you're kicked, then its still misuse.

You can't vote kick in premades. Also, read the quote. It literally says "removed from a duty finder group"

My apologies then. But this does raise an issue. Example: if someone (for whatever reason) join a duty via duty finder on a class, someone in your party say "woah, why are you using a class?" Then you shortly get kicked, what then? Was it justifiable? That person couldn't really switch jobs if he could, right? So did he deserve the kick? Should the person who initiated the kick be penalized?

The thing you have to remember, is that person alone cannot kick you. He can initiate the vote, but others have to agree to do so. It basically boils down to majority rules.

Why should the initiator be penalized? You're choosing to not equip your job crystal and make the run harder for your group members. Purposely choosing to gimp your group members should justify a kick.
