Do you think this is a reason to report?

The downside to typing messages in boxes as opposed to voice chat is there is no tone of voice, for example "can you slow it down please" could either be read as a request in a suitable tone, or a sarcastic tone, or an angry tone, depending on who is reading it. The person who reads it may not read it in the tone you are typing it in. If I ask anything I normally put lol at the end or smile, that way it hopefully gets read in the tone of voice I would use if I were using voice chat, not aggressive, not whiny, just a polite request. It doesn't work 100% but most people will get the gist.

I'm guilty of doing speed pulls in Brayflax(HM) I quickly look at my healers gear and if its over certain level will go for the SR. If things go wrong (rarely happens) ill take the blame, I decided to pull that many without saying so in Duty finder. If you have a run with lower dps or lack the aoe its the tanks job to adjust the pace, so he/she is at fault. You running away when the tank died is a fight or flight response( most the trash resets anyway when its a wipe).

I got kicked recently from a lost city run because pulling 3 packs of trash at a time still wasn't fast. The group started rushing ahead or luring trash back on to me (keep in mind i already have at least 2 packs on me). When i stopped moving to recover myself and my Mp/TP. I got abuse so i carried on knowing i did not have enough mana to do the kind of pulls the whm wanted and of course 1 or 2 mobs did not stay on me. i got abuse for this and just said you can either kick me or follow my lead not yours. (I was glad to get the hell out of that run to be honest)

personally i don't think you came off as rude, the tank did not accept that it was their mistake and became defensive. You could report him for kicking you for harassment since he kicked you after the low dps comment but i don't think its worth it

I would ... 2 reasons:

1. Abuse of the kick system, which is obvious
2. Game exploit (1st pull, 2nd - obtain item, party wipe - end result - win) - sounds like a win-trade to me.

camate has said player dispute in terms of battle strat isnt something that involves them, and they will stay out of it, its from the spirit bonding thread, this is a simple case of player dispute, they havent actually done anything of abuse, they havent named called you or mentioned something offensive, they simply didnt like what you contributed to the battle strat.

What strategy the tank made a call and went for SR, the Group wasn't able to handle it or a random variable caused a wipe. It happens, 99% of the time the default blame is on me and any other tanks who try to SR without asking 1st. I take the blame apologize if needed and move on to still do a fast run. Even if it is due to lets say a Black Mage not aoeing properly/low dps i just re assure then group (if needed) and move on.

If i get a group who can speed run all of bray great. If they cant i carry on its not just me on the party.

More than enough reason to report it.
