Low level roulette?

I find it weird also.

Though they probably don't wanna limit others who are searching for party's.

Sure SE forces you to do Low Level Roulette alone, but SE is not forcing you to do Duty Roulette in any way. If you're that concerned about leveling with someone else and not having exp gaps between each other, just make use of Duty Finder selecting the duties you may want to do.

People tend to forget 2 things mainly:
1. Roulette rewards are given just once a day.
2. You are not forced to maximize exp gainning every single time. Not getting roulette rewards (once more, 1 per day) won't bring any doom to your leveling sessions. On a side note, no one will /point at you laughing and shouting "Hahaha you fool not getting Roulette rewards, n00bz!!!!11!!!1!".

For Exping you don't need low duty roulette.
The main purpose of low duty roulette is filling up the empty partymember slots in dungeons that not many queue for it to help to form a party faster.
If it allowed to form a 2 member party before enter low duty roulette, then it would need longer to fill up a party where only 1 member is still missing.

Communicate with your friends, fom a party and queue or a specific dungeon. Don't do roulette. You would still get access to the dungeon after the duty finder filled up the empty member slots.

You can't "communicate" with your friends in dungeon.

I think people are missing the point of Duty Roulette. It to help low level people, and make que faster for DPS and to help out everyone. Especially the Low Level one they don't allow Pre made party because they want New Players to be help by other, to make que faster so they don't quit the game. It also help with Dungeon people never do anymore. Especially high people already max level that don't have a point to do those anymore.


If we all can do Premade Roulette, there will be no Roulette because people just do it with friends and pre made. Can you imagine how long it take for new player or DPS? Also, I enjoy doing Roulette especially the low level even though it take longer is more refreshing then those Speed Run one for a changed.

Communicate with your friends before enter the dungeon. To discuss what dungeon you want to do.

Don't roulette then? Group together and queue for specific dungeons.
Like I mentioned, roulette is meant to fill parties not for you to farm your tomes/exp.
If you lock spots that newer players needs to advance in their story quest/gear farming and have NO intention of helping out the newer players (only care about your and your friend's roulette bonus) then you don't deserve the bonus.

Last I checked, being in a dungeon does not prevent you to chat in /p /ls /fc

I wish they would open the low level roulette for premade groups. When somebody in my FC asks for help in a low level dungeon, not that many people answer them if they have their combat classes levelled to 50 already. If there was a 100 Myth reward, I am sure they would help more often.

And let's be honest, sometimes the low level dungeons take longer than the Level 50 ones because people in there are new to the dungeon. Yesterday I helped a mate from my FC and we spent mindnumbing 80 minutes in Temple of Quarn because the DD's did not understand the Death sentence mechanics from 1st boss although it was explained in detail and more than once.

WoW lets premade queue for daily dungeon runs this was one thing I do hate about the system on ff14. Me and my friend use low level to exp run for our other classes and we enjoy running dungeons together, Really is not cool that we have to not party.
