that's an notebook, are you sure that isn't a problem with the driver label? Regardless.

To put the whole spec in, I clicked save which brought it up in notepad, then copied and pasted it with "[quote][./quote]" around it. Ignore the . in the quote block wanted to make sure it wouldn't actualy make a quote block.

I'm relatively sure that it wasn't a driver issue as I've used similar programs for benchmarks in the past and they read the nvidia correctly, specifically the one for the newest resident evil. I could be wrong but I think it really did use the intel video.

Well accourding with this link http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/benchmark/ ( It's from square itself) the benchmark perform should follow this table at the end of the link, I don't copu it here cuz the characters limit.


So with an 6.6k I should at least look at the ground, I think.


Do you guys are using windows 8? Do you guys are using SSD, cuz I'm not so maybe that's the problem =/

edit your initial post, and you get arround that limit.

I just got an notice about steam,

It seems they had fixed some problem with the D3D for users that use an NVIDEA 650+ with the lastest drive (My case). I'm re-downloading the game again just to test that.

So maybe the problem was caused by steam not the FFXIV. If it's that the case I'll update here with later results.

Nops, I just used steam cuz it's fairly usefull to get the games =), or for example Origin to get some EA games, but never thought they can actually decrease my performace oO.

I decided to download the game by the square servers to make sure.

I notice that I was having some reallly heave problems as well on others game steam related, like "Dust an Elysian Tail"...

I'm more than sure I really can run that game >_<

There were some compatability issues between FF14 and raptr some time ago, that also happened with xfire and other programs.. something is probably colliding with your steam client

Yup that should cause you some problem.

I run a i7-4770, Gigabyte R9 290 OC 4GB GDDR5, 16GB RAM G.Skill Ripjaws-X DDR3-2133, Win8.1, Samsung EVO SSD. Max settings benchmark score 14k plus.

Your GTX 770 should do better than 6.6K, 6.6K is like scores on a high end gaming laptop (ie sports a single GTX-860/870M)

The problem is with the game.

I run a i7-4770k with a QUAD SLI EVGA TITAN SC and when I use all 4 cards I get 25% average usage per card. When I switch to a single Titan I get 99% usage.......

I mostly built this computer for FFXIV so I am not too happy that I spent over $4000 on graphics cards :(

You playing with 4K monitors for FFXIV? But even so max reso per screen is 1440p, unless you play with 3 of such resolution monitors. Even so with 3 1440p monitors, 4x GTX Titan for this game is plain overkill and anyways FFXIV does not support SLI nor Crossfire yet.
