No. NERF SP. Do NOT let players get maximum level within a few weeks.Quote:
You know what, swing your nerf bat as hard as you want at my archer or thm, but don't you nerf my sp!
but not only could one this under .18 instead jump chocobo
I think, correct me if I'm wrong, Alex's beef is she wants to know how much longer she has to wait for the lvl cap to increase (If I'm right, I'm not sure why this wasn't stated in the first place). That aside I can certainly understand the frustration. Hate to keep comparing this to XI cause it's really not fair given the amount of time it's been out, but once you've ranked to 50 I would imagine there just isn't much to do. XIV doesn't have have a dozen DLC's of new missions to do under its belt yet like XI. So yeah I'd be sitting around twittling my thumbs for a cap increase and new content too.
Game is just barely playable after almost a year and people are already crying for level increases? I think adding content and continuing to fix the game is the way to go, look at level increases somewhere around 2013
Yeah I would definately like to see some mission arcs a la XI
I definitely agree with this.
The prob with this game was never about SP gain or ranking up. It's the half complete state (if not less) that it's in.
As unplayable as i feel the game is atm, i would hate to see everyone, myself included have all jobs maxed out at 50 in no time and lying around scratching our heads, not knowing what to do. That would cause even a bigger prob on SE's hands and i'd expect to see more quitters then.
There is good reason for keeping SP gain low until the game reaches a decent playable state with enough content to have people interested and enjoying the game, and that needs time. So i personally would focus my criticism and complaints on the state of the game than ranking up.
That being said, I completely understand Alexi's frustration and i share alot of her frustration, and i think it's just immature on anyone's part to just flame frustrated customers/fans. If you disagree with her, point out politely and with respect your disagreements, no need to call her or anyone else a troll because they dislike the game as it is now. I dislike it myself, but im clinging to hope that it'll improve one day and will reach FFXI standard and far beyond. I'd like to believe that.
So let's keep mutual respect and Alexi, i agree with one of the posters, it would be good for all of us to point out exactly what is annoying and frustrating us with the game, i will be doing more of that myself.
Naoki said in the last letter that they welcome both good feedback AND negative criticism 'cause thats the only way they'll move forward and that is how they got to 1.18 (as uncomplete as it is).
So a friendly suggestion, to just elaborate more on what it is really that annoys you about the game and what you'd like to see. (i'll be taking my own advice too). Hopefully that'll help keep steering the devs in the right direction.
if you really wanna help the dev you dont do it by quitting you stay and help find more bugs and report.. not i found a bug i quit until everything is fine and dandy
