Yugiri?

Really hoping they show her face today, it would be awesome!

Already so excited about the upcoming patches haha! :D

I would definitely use my fantasia for a Dragon hybrid, with or without wings.

If she reveal herself in a duty cs, prepare to remove that duty from your list of speedruns, as long as good number of people (including myself) will NOT skip that :P

I don't care if they don't show her face today, I just want to see her face as soon as possible. Please tell me it happens in the 2.3 storyline! (Ramuh, could you blast her hood off somehow? Please?)

I don't expect to them to go with two groups that can be summed up as "rat people" Sure they could make hundreds of rat people types but... I think the niche is solidly in beastman tribe category not PC races.


Since we are throwing out crazy theories, Garlean stuff has a strong FF 6 feel, then even more so we have DOMA more ff 6 call back. I think Yugiri's race will be based on Maduin's ff 6 look(you can see it in the horns)

I think you're on to something there. Even if it's not where I was hoping, that sounds very interesting.

From the look of the Tail it fits 100% Gria Tail there is no mistaking it... still...
The Problem is that Horns and Wings do not fit yet.

Reptilian Beastman: not much Human like - such as Amalj'aa or Ixal - more Beastman than Human... so I guess not, even when having a Lizard or Dragon Tail...
Reptilian Demi-Beastman: more humal like beeings with some mixed things from other races - Tails, Eyes or Fangs (similar to Miqo'te). They given the Example with Horns, but obviously they have given them a Lizard/Dragon like tail too :)

Yoshi-P once said in an interview that Mammalian is not likely to be added soon because we already have Miqo'te (Discussion was about Ronzo/Lion Type of Race)

If she's similar to the Burmecians in FFIX, or similar to Freya, I will fly to Japan and kiss Yoshi-P on the lips. I would then proceed to roll a DRG with that race named Freya and not regret a thing.

But that said, I highly doubt it. It's probably going to like a lizard-humanoid. Think Miqote, with horns and a lizard tail. Maybe some cool skin tones and hairstyles. Maybe less of a humanoid face. I was expecting her race to be revealed this week, but maybe it'll be revealed through the rogue/ninja quests when they drop.

Seeing that old pool, Yukiko posted. I think I remember reading Yoshi wanting to do a reptilian race. Let's hope my memory holds true. Would be coolies, yo.

I doubt those are horns unless they messed up on the physics for them under that hood, because in the cut scenes when she moves her head they also move around like floppy ears.
