I've only ever quit one group that was sooooooo bad I couldn't see a way to win.

I was shocked when I was able to re queue as soon as I got out.

In Progress or a 100% fresh DF?
If In Progress then maybe someone left before you. You don't get the penalty if you are not the first who leave.

You get the penalty if you leave a full group, whether or not someone else had already left the group before.

I bailed once from a terrible 24/24 crystal tower run that had had many replacements already. Still got hit with a penalty.

I'm pretty sick and tired of getting hit with Thousand Maws over and over again, tanking it or healing it is even more dull... but I won't drop out unless a RL issue comes up suddenly.

DPS ques can be horrid and I just feel like it's not right to drop out when they could have been waiting for ages to get a party just for it to fall apart and then return back to the waiting >.>

The effects wouldn't be so pronounced if they would can the whole "option to select a dungeon in progress" and just do what every other game on the entire planet does - you get filtered into the duty you get filtered into, period. If you REALLY want a fresh run of a specific dungeon, queue the dungeon by itself.

The fact that sometimes people get the 30 minute penalty before they can join again, but sometimes they don't, sounds like a bug. Whatever the rule is, if it was working correctly, it would be consistent. And I'm pretty sure the rule is (as it should be) that if you leave you get the penalty for leaving.

The fact that you're able to start Duty Roulette any number of times and keep leaving while still having the Roulette bonus available for another try at it, is an exploit. It defeats the purpose of the Roulette reward while ruining the game for other players.

Both should be fixed. Roulette should get you one chance per day at a dungeon, and you should need to complete it if you want the reward for that day. And leaving any DF dungeon (whether Roulette or not) should give the delay-before-requeuing penalty.

You have no control over the party so you are saying people can lose their rewards just because they got stuck with bad players who can't complete it in 90 minutes?

For those of you ditching and not getting the penalty, are you the first to ditch every time? I know if you ditch when the party isn't full you don't get the penalty. Though it mostly sound like this isn't the case.
