Tell him to take off Protect too, and see him eat dirt by boss' AoE.

You actually make the healer's job harder when you refuse to take Stone Skin, because it's more HP we have to heal on you later when you take the same amount of damage, which is more MP we have to spend on you once the battle's going. It also could save you from a 1HKO so that we don't have to blow 4x the MP and 8 seconds of casting or our swiftcast in order to revive your sorry ass.
And yes, 'it goes down in like five seconds on a tank'. That's also five seconds we're not generating aggro at the start of a fight, which especially with mobs can be the difference between grabbing aggro and not, and still saves significant MP.
Stoneskin costs you literally nothing, and removing it is giving a middle finger to your healers.
This makes no sense at all, whatsoever. If you die, well so long to you, I won't be rezzing either.
You'd probably say no to that too. You're making the healers job harder and wasting their time
by removing it. I personally never seen anyone remove SS or Protect or anything.
Now I know it's a thing. WTF is going on with peoples in this game?

Don't want stoneskin? Alright. You got it. One less person to stoneskin in the group.
I say give'em what they want.
Lol reminds me of this thread in which someone started to complain about healers who stoneskin the party xD

It was mind blowing
Indeed, and I would stop casting personal heal on him too. If he purposely makes his HP weaker , I will not bother restoring them.
The only thing that makes sense to remove, is a too early casted or still remaining Regen buff, if the tank is not comfortable aggro-wise about starting a new fight with Regen already on.
Sounds like pride. Same with people who remove the Echo buff.
I had a similar experience in Lost City of Amdapor once. The tank speficially asked me to not stoneskin him as it was "useless" and a "waste of time". I agree that they could have made it slightly more potent, but on WHM it's a 18%/max hp ratio, which, depending on on the tank is up to 1.5k/2k hp I don't have to heal. So I wouldn't exactly call it useless. I tend to just put it on the tank the last few seconds of each battle during speedruns, or on the entire party if I have time if I know a big DMG AoE is coming up. It definitely makes things easier for me as a healer.
