You got it all wrong. The WHM Holying and burning their MP does not need you to recover it, they can do it by themselves with SoS and between the pulls. I've wondered why BRDs try to ballad me instead of swiftsong and requiem, but I guess you just answered my question: they're freaking out. :D No WHM who knows what they're doing and are well geared (item level 90+) should need ballad in any of the level 50 dungeons, ever.

Yes, I tend to use Holy a lot, and that's because it can do 1100 damage on each target it hits on crit. 700-800 on a normal hit. With Foe's Requiem it does even more than that! Most DPS i get the pleasure of being DF'd with are below i95 and aren't pushing the dps I'm doing on large pulls. As long as the WHM isn't begging for Ballad each pull and slowing down the run asking for mp breaks I feel its perfectly fine.

It's this way most of the time when I queue for Duty Finder as Bard. It's like you see a Bard in the group and you are all like "Ooh, Mana Battery!". To me you are just wasting mana.

When I see a White Mages start spamming Holy, I don't use Mage's Ballad till after the fight. At the next fight I turn it off. If they are still halfway or less on mana when we start the next fight, then oh well. They should of not spammed Holy on just two mobs. If the next fight is a boss fight, then I do leave ballad up a bit after the start of the boss fight if White Mage still needs some mana.

Probably cuz it was just too strong and made other dps aoe look like crap.
The fact that we were healers made it even better.

Please don't try to anticipate a healer's need for ballad it is very annoying. Actually this is one of my biggest pet peeves... It isn't needed in almost all cases... Maybe if a WHM died and got rezzed with shroud down? Let's just say my "Please turn off Mage's Ballad macro" has a lot more use than my "Need Ballad" macro (more so now as a SCH...).

If the WHM spams holy to the point they cannot cover the required healing, feel free to complain to them. Otherwise let them enjoy the dungeon.

I'm going to make a fair assumption that you are confident in your skills....you've made it to endgame content after all (you can't suck that bad). Well so has everyone else you are playing with, and just as you are probably good at what you do, they are good at what they do. Stop watching their MP, if they want a ballad they will ask for it.

I'm doing 700-1600 dps on the trash in Brayflox HM. I was even beating my friend's BLM on a lot of the pulls. Granted, it was kinda unfair since I'm rockin an i110 weapon while he had a 95. The nerf to Holy was very justified.

So much this. It's like some people in MMOs don't actually fully realise the people they play with are actual people and not NPCs.
