How do you deal with RNG?

After years of having to deal with losing rolls to Huntards in WoW, I have built up a strong tolerance to the rng gods.

Equip a bow.

I played FFXI for 8 years, this ain't nothing

The chances of the item you want will drop are one in nine. The chances of another party member competing for a need is one in two for tanks and healers and one in five for dps.

I don't see how one could claim it's unfair. It only seems unfair. Welcome to life, btw. :)

After doing t2 for months and months for the visors so I could hit stuff in t5 and later t6-9, after a farming session I sat down and remembered it's a game. Take a walk, do something else, then return to the enrage and pray.

In the case of Atmas...

I use a system developed by one of my FC mates.
COMPOUND THE RNG!!!
Not only pray for the game to give you an Atma, Roll a d12 to see what zone you have to go to!

Played runescape where the rng gods were so evil.

So everytime I think of rng in this game is terrible I flash back to runescape and smile because I know I at least I have a chance of obtaining the item. Runescape you would literally NEVER see a item no matter how hard and long you farmed, yes we are actually talking YEARS. I cannot believe I played that game for 4 years... *cries in corner in shame*
