Hmmmm no mention of Atma/Animus, yet they have delayed the next step until 2.28 because of something in the questline.... fishy, fishy.....

Yeah, seriously. What's the point of even adding new gear/ranks when people simply don't want to play it? How long can you grind deathmatches until you get tired? They could have added a couple of new match types like capture points, king of the hill, etc. Or if they are so lazy, they could have *at least* added a 8v8 deathmatch to make some people come back. But nope, it's another typical "please stay tuned for our next patch" patch.

they probably did change drop rates but hard to say seeing as we wont know til we logged in seeing as they never give % of drop rates.

I must've missed the "major PVP patch" bit. Source on that?

new match types wont be added til major patches if they do like for example they will be adding the frontlines pvp in 2.3

The color of the following item icons has been changed to improve visibility: ( Atma Stones )

I just have to laugh at this one. With all the complains, Yoshi P reply is that you guys not zoom in enough to see your Atma Stone dropping, so he changed the color to make it more visible.

I'd be more excited for the PvP update if they tweaked position updating a bit more. I have a good connection and can dodge everything in PvE reliably, but I still fail to pillar sleep or bard arrows? I've seen bards shoot through walls 1-2 times after someone runs behind them and I know it's all due to lack of position updating... I do like that they've added matchmaking as of 2.2, although I haven't tried it since before that patch.

No, if they did change the drop rates they would have mentioned it in the patch notes, but i have seen them do ninja patches so cant say. Chances are though they didn't change the drop rate because they know a large amount want it to be changed and not putting it in the patch notes is just stupid, seems the change will be coming in 2.28 sadly.
