I actually gave up on watching cutscenes during duties, even the quick ones like at the start of a boss fight (that doesn't take more than 30 seconds, some even less). Some people can't take "no" for an answer.

I usually go with whatever the group decides & watch the cut scenes at the Inn. But most do seem to be speedrunning now.
I'm pretty sure it was already determined that speed runners shouldn't be looking at DF if they can't handle others not playing their way.
Aheh...they already have the evidence captured with the way things are done already, though. ^__^
At the end of the day, its more reward, but the same problems are going to arise.
Really, the heart is in the right place.
But as long as there is a reward in place, which arguably can be obtain more quickly as it currently is, people are going to rush others.
The incentive is going to promote greed, but without that incentive, you'll never be able to get in the story dungeons because people aren't queuing.
The people that are going into this via roulette aren't going in to help people or help the experience.
They're there for the reward at the end.
Your experience is going to mean nothing.
Granted, I'm generalizing, but if it wasn't a general issue, this wouldn't be a topic.
Kyahaha, and yet, here we are. XD
As long as something can be selected and its convenient, they are going to use it, no matter how inefficient it is.
I've given up on thinking people can deduce things like efficient ways of speed running content in this game, but everyone will think they're an expert and storm places making demands.
Which, hey, is the reason these threads keep popping up.
I watched every cut scene ever done throughout te entire storyline.
As a result, the final two instances I didn't have to fight a single mob, got blocked from all bosses except the last one, and were the easiest raids I have ever done to date.
But I still watch all cut scenes. The first time. Each time. Even if someone thinks I'm a dork. Especially in DF.
Main story roulette - sit patiently and watch cut scenes. Additional Reward Bonus: 300 mythology
Problem solved ?
J/k :p
I don't mind if people watch the cut scenes, most of the time I'm waiting on people who are (or they could be PS3 players still loading). I skip them because, to me, the disrupt the flow of the dungeon.
its nice and toasty here
Sadly anyone finishing the main scenario for the first time will most likely be met by rude people who demand they skip, which absolutely loses the immersion.
I honestly think a good fix would be to add two choices
Choice 1) unskippable cutscenes for all, with added bonus of 30myth if they select that option
Choice 2) all cutscenes are skipped automatically which a 30myth reduction
That way people would have two ways to queue up and those doing it for the story won't ever have to deal with people demanding it's skipped as it cannot be
