Garlean tech is already called magitek. The Imperial Juggernaut (Aka, the big awesome standard Imperial giant robot from a few cutscenes and the opening) even uses a move caled Magitek Cannon during the R46 mission for some sweet 8k+ damage.

In the opening movie, it seems apparent that the Garlean empire was using captured-primals (or paragons?) to fuel their ship (my theory), so Magitek fits in with that.

I googled it to be sure you weren't also joking...

But the terms Garlean and Magitek are part of the official storyline.

So i think it would be totally plausible for any of this technology to be used in game as a mount.
It's a valid idea to share with the dev team.

Also, if trolls were able to troll Oprah, who is a deity btw, I'm sure they could possible manipulate the dev team into actually doing this.
