Are you ... serious?

That\'s just stunning to me. As a tank who just reached end game stuff I have, since my first dungeon, 1) read a guide first 2) say "Hello. I'm new to this dungeon. Any and all advise welcome." Only once did that ever illicite a bad response, something sarcastic like "Oh, that's just great", the first time I did SV story. And once he realized just because I hadn't done the dungeon didn't mean I didn't know how to tank he changed his tune and threw me a com at the end. Every other time has resulted in people being really cool and showing me the ropes. Why oh why would you not want input from people who have already ran the dungeon before? It just makes everyone more comfortable and makes things go smoother.
I think that the boot kick system needs to be redone a bit. If that person is being booted because of harassment and whatnot, then yes they should get a 30 minute penalty. However, if the booted person is being booted because they are offline. Then I honestly don't think that they should get a penalty. Cause seriously, with lag and connection issues that people tend to have during dungeons. That is not nessisarily their fault they shouldn't be punished, as in if someone is being a jerk, yeah give them a penalty.
report them for harassment, i had this happen in t4 the reason was different but the player refused to help in the battle and refused to take the penalty and just sat down we all reported them we got replys in less then 10 minutes.
It sounds like he was doing it for the myth, and instead of taking a penalty and waiting he wanted to be kicked.
They should make a penalty for if you get kicked. They made alot of adjustments to the kicking policy so now most of the unlawful kicks are hard to do.
I've only vote kick someone once: That was a healer in Aurem Vale that when I was giving him advice on how to play whm (he was new and we couldn't make a pull without dying) he flat out said "I'm just doing this on purpose."
