Ya know what, nobody is forcing you to sit in Mor Dhona, go gathering or crafting or level a new class, do a dungeon with FC mates there is plenty to be doing in this game so lets not try to make out otherwise ...

Most of the time when people whine there is nothing to do, it's actually because they can't be bothered or don't want to do something else.

I suspect that people are less bothered about the content and more concerned about the bragging rights when they complete and stand in Mor Dhona in their undies and their Atma's eqipped.

Thank you for making me have something special that I can show to others online and make them jealous because it's entirely and 100% based on my luck and I have it and they won't for a long time!

You know, nobody was making you sit around in Mor Dhona. You could have gone out in the world and done FATEs on your own without asking them to force everyone to do their badly-designed low-level content. And at least on my server, nobody says anything while doing FATEs, except the occasional "I think this Atma doesn't really exist" type comment. They're all too afraid that a FATE will pop while they're typing and they won't get to it before it's completed by the herd of players.

Also, that feeling you get when you get the last Atma? It's not joy, it's relief that you don't have to sit around staring at your map and running to the next FATE and spamming AoE hoping that you can do a bit of damage before the FATE is completed so you have a 1% chance of actually getting a drop, and can go back to doing something that's actually fun.

I'll grant you that FATEs aren't too bad when I manage to do them between 12am-4am Pacific when there's only about 10 people per zone doing them, but at any other time they are not any fun at all.

I started atma grinding today!
Got three atmas and two new friends on my friends list.

I'm loving the grind too!

ppl are trying to make this sound good, but it's not. now i am happy you got your atma's ^^
but trying to make this whole fate zergin' and praying to god you get there
before a whole swarm army of ppl finish it, isn't.
it's an AWFUL design. im not thankful for this because sadly, it's a part of the game i will not be doing at all.
maybe in 2.3 something will change..i guess its good someone like this but a huge ass majority doesnt simply coz it's so boring...
i am sorry but when you push fates in almost every single thing in the game, i feel like thats being lazy
and running out of idea's to make ppl do anything.

anyways for those of u who struggle with atma, good luck to you all. ^v^
