The thing that rubs me the wrong way is that this is a funal fantasy game yet we have more color options when it comes to ponies compared to the one color of chocobos :(

I know somebody can be a wiseass about the legacy darker feather part (but who cares really).
I just want to have a black chocobo. (Through breeding! Don't just slap it in there!)

Chocobos of different colors were already confirmed in the same live letter where Yoshi P mentioned chocobo raising in the works.

What nobody confirmed instead is all those chocobo bardings becoming available for other mounts too T-T

I want them to do something like, making a Robot you can mount inside the frame, also having its own ability sheet and starts at level 1 even though you are 50, it gains new skills and gets stronger when you fight and its only out in the field not in dungeons.

Have it like the companion and have 3 choices on what kind of robot you wanna build, Defender, attacker and healer, though it is operated like a normal job.
Example- Heavy punch chained to Combo punch chained to Machine gun punch, when you get higher you learn laser aoe or something cool aura beam.

it would only be for something fun to do that's what I would want to see, Also I wish they would let us target ourselves and have a mount option only for chocobo so I don't have to click the macro bar or use the Crt

by the way the robot is controlled by you not by npc.

we need a gold choco (fly mount!) !
