Except Scholar AF+1 -is- BiS for that class for most slots, lol

Because remember glamour and vanity ?
So buying the gear with yoshitomes won't be all that of a waste if you get it's coil counterpart!

In time it won't matter if you gear both
gear your SCH with stones and gear your WHM with coil
and it's not like BiS is something needed, frankly you can put whatever you want on your healer it won't influence that much
as of now i am sure you can clear twintania with no problem if you take the non BiS (allagan over myth and vice versa)

To be honest gearing out BiS is somewhat pointless as we have been shown; SE will give no ##### about making the gear near worthless in the next major coil patch. So I'd be more worried about playing effectively and utilizing the drops to gear other classes unless you want to waste soldiery...

Plus with organized static group you can resolve token/coil gear drops in a fair way.
