Patch 1.18 release date now looking grim for july??

I am frankly get rather fed up of waitin on this patch, i really dont see the point in them posting what they are giving us if they are going to make weeks and weeks to actually get it. Most of the people i play with are fed up waitin and are not on and i know if i stop loggin on and find something else to do i prob wont bother coming back.........SO to SE i say this you either post and tell us whats going on and if and when you are going to release the patch....... or just put out of our misery and tell us you are delaying it agian as you have well and truely had enough time to release it or least tell us when it will be coming.....

To be honest SE way of releasing patches and tellin u at the last minute really annoys me do they want everyone to give up or what????

Perhaps start a thread about this man, no sarcasm/joking, because honestly you're right. They NEED a time table for us to look at. They wait until the last *bleepin* second to tell us when the patch will be released, and by that time who gives a *bleep*??

The people who are trying SOOO hard to give this game a chance and keep it alive are being TORTURED by SE's rediculous delays and inability to have the common decency to post a date.

It's plain to see on these forums now that things are getting heated, people are sick of the games SE. Fess it up already: are we getting another delay or is it going to actually arrive on time?

I have already get use to pathch delay, >_<

Just goes to show they have zero respect for players waiting for the substantial changes.

It's not that they don't respect players. No one realises how much effort it takes to reinvent the whole battle system in a few months. If anything it just goes to show that players have zero respect for the devs. They're working their asses off for such a massive change and it's only expected that they run into unexpected errors and problems that take a while to fix. If anyone did programming for a living you'd know you just cant make lengthy code without at least 1 error coming up every now and then.

As someone else suggested, just go do something with your time and the patch will be here in a flash. I'd much rather have the patch delayed than released on time with a crap ton of system errors.

7 months, 5 days since they took over in January. What have they been doing with the time? No real results so far in-game.

and if anyone has had anything to do with public service or public relations you know that a simple stop in and hello every now and then to say what is being worked on and an estimated time frame goes a long way.

take your car to the mechanic and he tells you he will get it fixed. during the process you hear nothing about the progress even when you ask them. you ask them what is wrong and what they are working on and he tells you that you should not worry it will be handled, but refuses to tell you the issue or when to expect your car back.

in other words we understand the process takes time, but it only takes a few minutes to make up a post to let the people you are serving a product to know where the progress is.

if it was nothing more than a graph showing a percentage complete it would be nice. i have a writer that does that on every book in their series and i love the method. i understand the book takes a while to write and once it's done it has to go to the editor and may have to have things changed before it's released, but it keeps me up to date on the progress.

Well the producers letter is an update every now and then on whats going on, is it not?

so taking a few minutes every few weeks with only vague statements made is good?
