Mary me Zaviermhigo...OH WAIT YOU ARE ON SELBINA
Innerserverial marriages? One of you will have to get a green card.
Too much effort. nevermind
Please make the wedding ring AP0 (if they still going to keep that Accessory Point crap)...lol I don't want people looking at me going why the hell you have that ring on wasting AP cost for something you could actually get stats on... hard to tell them... I....Can't....take....it....off.....it.....its.....c....cursed....
oh and {will you marry me} auto-translate gets +1 automatically
I need to add that to my voke macro...
I agree. I can honestly say my only reason for playing this game right now is so that I can be ready to do PARTY oriented content when it comes. hehe
btw nice derail attempt there xeak!
im all for marriage, and since we now have surnames, it would be necessary to allow us to change oru surnames! Though... Same s** mariages. no thanks. sorry i try not to be a hater about most stuff, but i must about this ><
I should mention... in FFXI I have friends who met in game and they both lived in different states but they moved in together now they are happily married in real life too lol.
Me and my wife... meh we met before FFXI but talks about anime and game got us together and we got married too... lol
Once we get both the mog house with a bed and marriage, the partying in XIV will get a whooole different meaning :D Maybe honeymoons in Mor Dhona for couples who like it spicy....
"Enjoy a pleasant time with your mate under the purple skies and Dodore's constant gazeee!!!" *sound of thunder* :p
Anywho, back to being serious. For the people wanting marriages, but not same s3x marriages; You do realize that if we indeed get an option to get married only to the opposite sex, there's going to be a major outbreak? As it should, imo. Besides, I don't think SE could come up with a plausible explanation why they didn't include both, in this day and age.
P.S. If they ever create Miqo'lalas babies, I want one as a pet! :p Baby-snatcher rank up!
Including same sex marriage is a must. I'd also like to see something like house sharing and bank sharing (when we actually get houses and banks ofcourse) for people that are married.
Wasn't there a post somewhere that said if marriages were implemented that they would include same sex? Unless that was an old interview from Tanaka's team. Not sure where YoshiP stands on that. But, as a straight man ... and yes I paused a moment just to emphasize that because I am straight (gonna get some flames on this now) ...I believe it's prejudice to gays who play this game if there is no same sex marriage because of "immoral" reasons. There's nothing wrong with two men or two women loving each other ... just whatever they do together should stay behind closed doors ...
And to comment on Veasna ... I agree with sharing houses, but not banks. What if the girl/guy you marry is a gold digger and married you just for your money? Within a few hours of being married they'll take everything, put it on a new character (when the mail system comes unless helped by an unsuspecting friends) delete that character and then you'll never hear from them again. Just a point of view I thought I'd express on that :/
Edit: I had to mark this as my 100th post hehe
Whatever two persons (or more) do together in that sense, regardless of their sexes, should stay behind closed doors. Just had to jump in on that :p
The shared house sounds interesting, although I'm conflicted a bit.... I'd like to see that as an additional and optional choice to private residences. I'd still want to keep my own house that no one can mess with or rearrange the furniture whenever they see fit >_> Maybe a shared common room that serves as a connection between the 2 houses with locked doors to private residences on both sides that open on invitation only? Or private rooms as addition to a shared house.... Same for storage, I could do with having both private and shared storage, but not with only having the shared one.
And since we don't actually have storage in form of a wooden chest or whatever, maybe the shared storage could be a butler NPC, much like retainers. Preferably a Moogle, but considering their rarity (judging from the storyline so far), I don't think we'll be seeing them in every house. Unless they find a "clever" way to write them into everyday life.
