Lack of Big Fishing discussion in today's Live Letter

All of the "Big Fish" will be caught from level 1-15 areas. I hope there's actually some use for at least some of them.

Noticed this too. The mystery is further taken away from them when you read their descriptions. The location for each is listed right in there.

Well, I'm at least intrigued how hard these Big Fish will be to catch. They better be at least as hard to catch as two-stars and have at least a little variability in how they're caught. Ie, they better not all be just "fish until you randomly get it." I want more mooches, double mooches, and weather/time dependents and maybe some new tricks too. Hopefully a few of them will be the new "BiS" for the various fishing area types. Gigantshark 250 ilms? I hope so!

This is the datamined information on the new big fish, the description tells you at what location you can catch the fish. Some of the descriptions link them to being the king of a certain fish, that would lead to an idea of what kind of bait to use. I think it would be the same bait as the smaller fish, just with the needed higher gathering requirement.

Now to figure out how to catch these Silver Sovereigns. The item description says they're also called tarpons. Irl tarpons like to eat live bait, apparently, but nothing at Oschon's Torch is moochable. So it's a straight catch, I'm just not sure what from. I'll keep trying these N. krill.

EDIT: Almost got one. Oschon's Torch at 1pm, clear skies, using Yumizunos. Gathering 295 wasn't enough to catch it though, so I lost it.
