So what will happen to the Primal Ex's once the Relic upgrade is available?

well... current primal x fight wasn't really hard once ppl know what to do there, with exception of Titan which might need good latency or anticipation. This is especially true for dps role, though IMO healer have greatest challenge in these fights.

Aside that, I'm still gonna farm those since I have yet seen Odin horse dropped yet. Probably gonna stop after gotten that, but given my luck on RMT... who knows... ^^;

It's not that I think they are hard, cause they aren't, but seeing as my last Titan HM kill took me 4 days to get (4th relic), simply because people can't dodge.... (either because of lag or just being bad)

Doing them with randoms is just way to annoying and time consuming.... And you shouldn't have gather your FC to do it.

It's just your bad luck. I got whm to 50 on sunday, relic couple hours later all from duty finder and party finder with only 2 FC members. On topic, I DO hope they involve killing primals EX on the job you're getting new relic for just like Relic quest requiring hard mode.

yes, that's obvious, but if you look at the current relic quest, it involves both sets of tomestones (if you count Zenith), all the Hard Primals and a story dungeon.

so if you look at Masterworks as the next level, you would need 900 of the new tomestones, all the EX Primals and a story dungeon (Township most likely). there's also no equivalent for Hydra or Chimera in 2.2.

it's not going to be as simple as take your Zenith and trade it to the stove with items bought with 900 new tomes.

Hopefully they'll just require rowena's tokens and not the act of completing primal ex's after flagging a new quest. I say this for selfish reasons, because I have been stacking rowena's tokens instead of turning them in for primal weapons for like 5 weeks now.

You will go to a specific waterfall in the game, I am guessing one that looks worthy of wishing upon, and you will toss in your relic +1 and a giant fairy, I'm not sure if this will be a large scholar pet, or a Gigas that got ahold of a bedazzler, will then give you the relic +2.

I hope that you must complete the current extremes to fight the new extremes, and I also hope that the new relic involves killing our current 3 extremes as part of the upgrade. People will be getting new gear, and it would be nice to see people really keep working towards their shiny new weapons (in referance to Titan HM "difficulty").

In my opinion we had our ease into the game with what has been released so far, and I'm hoping that they decide to turn up the heat and start giving people real goals to work towards. Im going to have my "armed to the teeth" achievement tonight and it only took me like 2 days of playing to finish my last 5 relics...so give us some challenges!
