Can we remove the AFK logout timer now?

They can just come and move themselves if they're in danger of timing out. We have enough of an issue as it is with people being afk doing something instead of waiting for the queue to pop.

Since it's so easy to circumvent, it doesn't really need to be removed either, does it? :eek:

Frankly, I'd err on the side of a half-filled, active server than a near-full sever made of statues.

If its gets removed and the people who never turn off the game and are afk 95% of the time it would possibly longer queues for people who actually log off the game. I would say keep auto log off in the game. If you are afk more then 30 min then you don't need to be logged in to the game taking up server space.

Because getting up every now and again to go into said room and press one button is that difficult? If it is, I'd venture to say you have more important things to find issue with than AFK logout timers.

When I sign up for duty finder I click on the duty finder to open the box with your status and such and time spent waiting, drag it to the top left and open firefox. Then I shriiiiink it just enough to have a clear view of the box in my peripheral vision. That way I can be on youtube or read comics and such until I notice the box disappear in my peripheral vision. I don't know how your peripheral vision works but this works for me. I rarely NOT miss the box poofing. This way if I do happen to be waiting more than like 10 mins at least I'm entertained while waiting :3

Edit: And I randomly jump or something if it's taking way too long so I don't get booted~

If you're AFK you have no right to be in a queue, if you're not at your keyboard ready to accept the party pop-up then GTFO the queue.

I would assume that the reason the OP turns his volume up when going to watch TV is so he can hear when he finds a party and accept it.

Is your time really so valuable you have a hard time waiting 30 seconds for a dungeon?

This game is a theme-park MMO. You pick your favorite rides over and over again till you get tired. If you want to play open-world MMOs, then play games like FFXI, Everquest or Ragnarok Online. I just craft or gather or do beast quests or FATE grind another job while I wait for queues. But that's just me.
