SCHs shine no matter what the fight is and what the party composition is, because they not only bring more to the table (better mitigation, better buffing/debuffing, stronger ST healing), but they also don't' suffer from the same level of MP management as WHM have to deal with, nor the greater risk of generating enmity. This makes SCH much more of an independent healer while WHM doesn't have the spare MP to cover for DPS mistakes or forces a party to find a Bard. So in the end it's not about what content the jobs can do...it just comes down to it that SCH is the all around "better" healing job simply because of utility. I understand that SE wants WHM to just be heal machines, but the problem is that there is no content that absolutely requires a heal machine. If WHM is to remain what it is in future focus, it needs to have major MP cost cuts across the board and have Spell Speed factor into how fast their HoTs tick in order to buff them to the same level as SCH is currently. Otherwise, the job will continue to be a waste until SE designs a fight where there's so much unavoidable AoE damage that a SCH just can't compete, thus giving purpose to WHMs' existence as a massive AoE healer.
