Bring back open world NM/HNM - Reinheart's version

Why cant they just add them into the 8 man maps... They have a great concept going on there they just need to start putting nm/hnm in the chests and giving better rewards... Obviously they would drop at a rare percentage kind of like the tonberry or the bluebird... Personally I think the 8 mans are too easy considering we did five of them with 4 people...

They mentioned they will be adding to the treasure map system with rarer maps to find.

Maybe tie those ones to NMs HNMs. Also I think the Piesteskin maps are balanced for pretty much fresh 50s not heavy geared, so are easy in those regards, Maybe when they get 24 person alliances working (not DF style like CT) they will add HNM maps that require 24 peeps. Should be fun if so.

Likely because Reinheart has done more JP > English translations (and faster) than the devs have here, so he's built himself a large and positive reputation.

I think we would like to see the same thing: "Bounty of the Twelve". Yes a shame less plug but I think it would be a good idea. >_>

Personally I wouldn't even touch them if they were implemented with vanity drops and such. Horizontal progress and drops like they had in ff11 and I'm in. This won't happen because policing people and their bots in this situation will be a nightmare for SE. Besides people hate competition nowadays.

The only thing I know about him is he has bad ideas that involve the revival of NMs.

As much as I loved the NM / HNM hunting in XI, I feel it might be camped by bots aswell. I both like and dislike FATE, but having 100+ people hit a boss don't make me feel it..
Why not bring back something like BCNM again? Tweak the Guildhest a bit, the system is there, make it happen! :D

Finally a thread worth reading. (so sick of elitist/rage thread)

the idea is good i love this one. for me its one of the signatures of MMORPG.
now lets break down the ideas i have seen in here (sorry i cant quote those who post it i am lazy, but you know who you are)

what we want

1)Open world content NM/HNM
- i never played XI but i played other games like ragnarok online who have a bit something like NM so i got a rough idea

2) we want NM/HNM but not the same concept of FATES.
- as what have been said FATES are good, but we dont like the idea of camping its SPAWN location and Zerging it with 50-100 players, so i think as suggested by someone in here lets make spawn location and spawn timer random :)

3) the drops and loots
- one of the best drops in the game i have seen so far is the "Nightmare Mount" not so powerful to disrupt game balance but it is rare enough and cool enough to be considered rewarding (just my opinion). now as someone said in here, vanity items or house furnitures or a achievement title i think is enough for this one.

4) make it fun
- on this one i think each and everyone has a different point of view. but here are my thoughts.
make the NM/HNM fight/hunt involved all of the classes ( not sure how you will include the DOL-DOH classes but i think SE or anyone can think of a way to get them to be involved as well) i hope every class and i mean everyone will be useful and needed. it really kills the fun when other classes are preferred than the other one
- make them not just available in the world. but make them attack the towns also. (imagine Diablos/Omega Weapon being summon in Mor Dhona then after a certain time it teleports to another location)
