thumbs up if you miss 1.0 graphics and open world! ^_^

Players just wanna complain, in 1.0, players lambasted the game as utterly horrendous but in 2.0, 1.0 is somehow has turned into a masterpiece admired by all.

wait 1.0 had an open world map? :O i was just saying to my brother that this is the only thing this game is missing is an open world map

Square should make an alternate version of FFXIV where it's just HUGE copy pasted areas (with awful textures) and annoying orange glow on skin (sponsored by Billy Mays)

The areas have 1, and sometimes, up to 2 houses in them.

Also, all you can wear are potato sacks and leather straps.

There's your immersion.

Can we stop with these threads now?

I agree! Too bad the PS3 is too much of a burden to allow it.. But we can always DREAM! Dream that one day I may explore a VAST, gorgeous area with no obvious console limitations to it. We can DREAM!

I dont miss open world at all, but i care for the ANIMATION and the CHARACTER GRAPHIC

Yea 2.0 sacrifices graphics for better game design which is great. I guess what got me was your character seem more life like, more real! Should I say in 1.0 the whole world itself seemed more real. While looking at 2.0 your character has a more cartoony look. Also am I the only one that noticed this but did 1.0 feel more darker like erozea needed us to save it. Also that end world content was amazing at the end of 1.0. That should have been the first expansion or marked it.

The very fact that devs had to apologize for 1.0 and recreate the game says alot... perhaps SE simply had too much time and money on their hands and decided to apologize and recreate the game for kicks.
