Titan should never be up in a dungeon unless tank ask you to have titan off tank, or tank dies. Ifirit or emerald carby/garuda should be used to dps. SMN that queue up for dungeons and smn titan should be slapped. They are either trolling or don't know what they are doing. If you as a summoner are having to use titan in a dungeon without being ask to control hate either tank is doing it wrong or you or other party members are not letting tank get agro before you are going all out. As a smn you are not helping you tank or party using titan in a dungeon, unless asked. Let the tank do his job and pull out your dps pet. If tank sucks, kick the tank.
My favorite is when I get into a dungeon and the tank is all like "hey put that Titan AWAY NAOW" and I'm all like damn I was doing leves, chill out, I'm casting dps summon as fast as I can this spell takes forever oh no they've vote kicked me out welp back to leves come on Titan.
Ifrit dps is better on sic while his auto attack is bugged. But you knew that.
you should never use ifrit so problem solved!
What order and level do you obtain the pets? Does it fit with the word never? Ifrit comes before Titan and Garuda after and does more dmg than left over carby. Problem solved if greater level than 44?
in dungeons, I'll use swiftcast switch to titan egi to pick up adds if the tank can't or refuses to do it. once its doen its job I swiftcast change it back to garuda.
the difference between carbunkle and ifrit is minor at best so yes, problem still solved
You ignore higher deeps to avoid stun resist on 90% of dungeon? Problem not solved. Pets are situational. Worried about boss stuns is one thing, but ifrit is higher dmg than carby period. even higher on sic.
As far as Titan goes, swift cast him and he can prevent full wipe when that insecure tank dies.
