They are using you, to gear up. What they want to do is replace you with one of their real tank friends. Who is not you. So as soon as they have him geared, they will leave you.
Sigh, major raiding issues in my FC.

Right there with you...FC having issues keeping people interested, get asked repeatedly if I am on for a Monday 9pm EST raid, so I commit. About 8pm a friend asks me to go with him, decline since I committed to static group in FC... around 9:10 the FC person in charge logs in, doesn't say "sorry for running late" says "Who wants to do CT?" Same night, I join a PUG coil, get through T1, everyone 90k's on coil T2, and now I can't find a group for T2 since everyone only takes 1 tank and all the healers are eaten up from early enrage runs. -
