Crystal Tower Horror Stories

I've had my bad runs but I had my best run today, go to final boss with 82 mins remaining and boss too about 5-6 mins to down.

Went with my FC this weekend and got in as group B. On the last boss, after the second Ancient Flare, both giants from the other alliances converged on our pad. We had all three giants for some reason. They cleaved and killed our healers. I was MT at the time.

Shield went down, I ran back out and popped Hallowed Ground while our party did their darndest to Raise our healers while throwing out Physick and Stoneskin onto me. I didn't die, whether by the grace of those desperate heals or the other alliance healers helping me, I'm not sure. But yeah, watching both healers go down at the same time to unexpected visitors was pretty worrying.

I saw ghost, i saw skeletons, I saw people dying, I saw blood everywhere, I saw demon, I saw beasts, I saw monsters, and I saw abominations

Cannot get more scary then that

When the Iron Giant appears during Atomos battle and you knew what was coming and stare helplessly.

They just dropped about 15 minutes ago. At the start of the run I made this big deal about praying to the RNGods for them. I rolled a 2 with Need. The WHM with ilvl 90 Cleric's Boots rolled an 18. Her SCH now has full Royal. I'll just sit in this lava and ruminate on how empty the world is.

Royal Crown the only piece I needed, drops from the last boss and I lose the roll to another WHM in FULL ilvl 90. Loot drops I don't seem to have a big problem with with a bit if patience, loot rolls on the other hand....

whole raid got locked out of Atomos because someone tried to return before being wiped. I repeat. WHOLE RAID got locked out at atomos Lol

same, on behemoth. and then someone convinced the entire raid to sit in the lava puddles down the stairs to wipe and fix it...so we all had a lava jacuzzi and died, only to come back and find that we were still locked out. lol

I'm a WHM and all I need from CT is pants and crown. Yesterday, last run of the week, onion helm drops and i yell at RNG since nothing dropped during this entire week. Don't know how i did, but i greeded on the helm, while cursing dragoons. Didnt realize it at first, but then read that onion helm has been put in my inventory. I laugh, because I'm a moron...and a few mn later, pants drop on acheron. I cry and the other WHM gets the pants. He was poorly geared, so I guess fate has decided to give those to him instaed of me. Was really pissed, though.

I think I was in that run! It was this week I believe?
