How would people feel about a bestiary?

I like it, but I think location data should come immediately with the first kill. Maybe only the zone though, I don't think exact locations should be given.

Yoshi already said that there would not be an in-game bestiary, just the libra eorzea crapp. Memory limitations or something, this was all discussed during the beta.
That's right, if you want a bestiary for your online game you need a smartphone.

Think they would just make it client side so the game doesn't need to call information from the servers.

Something like what FF12 did would be awesome!

If I couldn't solo half of northern thanalan all pulled at once and live, I'd like the idea.

There are no tough monsters anywhere in any zone that are not in an instance.

I would love one. But i wouldnt expect it to get so in-depth with all enemies. Maybe a select few. But the majority of it would be collecting a large array of different enemies i think. Either way sounds fun.... well not 5000 times though. That sounds rediculous. I mean come on... i got a 12hr job here ;)
