SE Failing And a bit still about jump.

we are not talking about a lil family business. Do you remember the last financial crisis (not that its over yet lol). And how many companies, which now earn a shit load of money again but had losses by far bigger then SE had, by far...

Those companies don't go bankrupt because of 1 or 2 bad years. And SE has a lot goin on, a lot to be published (a lot of i think great titles)... its so pointless talking about this... and even IF SE had more of these years to come, it will be sold (SE would need a lot of these years) and i think the ff brand will be one of the brands they kept.

The 'news' being posted here is not new. The fiscal report the OP is referencing was posted back in May and there are several different reasons for the loss, but it has been over a month and the game is still being developed. The OP is basically this guy:

Didn't one of SE's exec's say that they we embarrassed to be at E3 and it was only the fact that they had bought Eidos that allowed them to save face. I think SE is well aware of the situation they are in and are doing everything they can to turn themselves back into a triple A developer again. Initial response from FFXIII-2 has been very positive and they have taken aboard the criticism that they received from FFXIII and have working hard to ensure the same mistakes are not repeated.

Overall I think SE will do what they must to turn everything around that includes pumping in as much money as they have to into FFXIV. At this point they can't afford further damage to their reputation so dropping FFXIV would not be the answer regardless of cost.

Finally, they just figured out that they're too oldschool to survive in this decade so they need CHANGE!
