There's nothing wrong with any of those party names. THey just want people with experience because they want to quickly farm things.

But yes please put Tonberry and Masamune together, and get Masamune out of my DF group as I'd rather never party with anyone from that server again. (No offense to any good people on Masa but whenever I get a jerk in DF I look them up on Lodestone and LO & BEHOLD, MASAMUNE!)

You seem to misunderstood the message of the screenshot. It's like 1:10 ratio of party recruitments posted in Party Finder was written in JP. Hence, the EN community was isolated in recruiting partymates mostly in FCs (if you want to be partied with EN players as well)

Aren't there any newer stats than from the transfer period? I know Atomos' EN population has changed. I think we are on the same data center as Tonberry.

There was a JP site that updated in (i think) real time with really really detailed stats on server populations. It had graphs and everything breaking down region, races levels etc for every server.

I'll see if I can dig up a link.

That appears to be the same website listed upstream. They state on the site "Data is carried out based on the data from August 25, 2013 to November 18, 2013". Thank you though! :)

The servers are not based on language, they are based on location. They are JP servers because they are physically located in Japan. This means they are the best option from a network-performance standpoint for Oceania/Southeast Asia players, as well as NA players living in / stationed in Japan.
