The Ten things you would like to see added to FFXIV asap

1) High-level PvE content focused around large groups.
2) High-level PvE content focused around small groups.
3) Mid-level PvE content focused around large groups (less necessary since it takes 2-3 weeks to hit 50)
4) Mid-level PvE content focused around small groups (less necessary since it takes 2-3 weeks to hit 50).
5) Finalized battle system so that 1-4 can be implemented.
6) More storyline/lore to actually give the world depth.
7) Rewards from 1-4 to give players goals to pursue.
8) LS/company/guild facilities to simplify management of large-scale high-level PvE content.
9) Did I mention content?
10) If not, I'll say it again. Content. Preferably of the sort that's fun, can be done regularly, and gives you something to show for it (not stupid 1-off side quests).

In order:

1.) Linkshell Management Options: ADD/REMOVE a member that is far away or offline.

2.) Gamepad Targeting: UP/DOWN scrolls through party member list

Anything else I can wait for.

1- CHOCOBO/AIRSHIPS
2- Mog House
3- Mail System (i dont want to carry my friends items for days)
4- Search individual person for PT seeking.
5- BCNM,ENM,Assault,ZNM etc.
6- CS to sidequests ! (CS everywhere) Like in Crystal Bearer, once you enter an area/town you get a 10 sec CS that shows you few parts with the name of the map appearing in lower corner.
7- More Job Specipic gear
8- 1HR ability (2HR to long)
9- Small towns (Hamlet) with retainer bell, quests, shops (more life to them)
10- Immersion a la XI

I want to be the Hero, not my NPC, why is it him in most of the CS camera screen time? Why is it him that does all the talking ?

After they finish the battle system changes

1. Chocobos.
2. Airships.
3. Remade party search & level sync.
4. PvE Content for all ranks.
5. Atmospheric/Environmental features.
6. Class diversity.
7. Companies/Linkshell/Personal Housing
8. Spells/Skills/Abilities Animations
9. Real mini-games. (Chocobo raising, tetra master, stuff like that)
10. Engaging group orientated storyline

I agree will most of the previous post and would also like to see some non gameplay related stuff too

1) option for VSYNC (stupid that we have to use a 3rd party program for this)
2) able to ALT-TAB out of full screen (dont want to use windowed)
3) shutdown to windows command , not logout , exit, exit.

I've always thought that this was fun to do in FFXI.

3. Final Fantasy Tactics style to obtain advanced classes.

I've seen a lot of people suggest this, and I think it would be a very nifty idea. For example, to get Musketeer, you'll need to level Archer and, for the hell of it, conjury, to let's say, 25 and 20 respectively, or something like that. This could apply to every other future advanced jobs. they shouldn't be totally difficult to get, but it should be just enough to make it feel like the reward is worth it.

4. Hair Salon, barbershop, etc.

I know this was talked about during the beta phase, and early part of the game, but now, it's been dead quiet. I've not heard a word about it from the new development team, so I feel that this merit a spot in my ten things. the idea of barbershop is to change your appearance. Not just hair, maybe facial features, like markings, etc.

Allowing people to change their appearance from time to time would make the game seem...new, less repetitive. It would make their characters look more dynamic. I had a terrible, terrible time making up my mind when I first made my character, but one thing I hoped for is to change my hair style because hell, I liked a lot of miqote hairstyle along with what elezens have, as well as hyurs. Also, I'd like to see other races using hairstyle from, well, other races.

5. More Beastmen race

Trying very hard not to turn this into another 'Things I want to see from FFXI', but the presence of Amalj'aa merits this point. There needs to be more beastmen race. It is a great conflict tool that has been used in the past and I feel that it's definitely worth doing here. We got goblins now, along with Amalj'aa and I'm sure the sylphs, fairy, thing, would count but yeah.

6. Make zones (in general) more interesting

The zones are HUGE, they are seemingly endless, but they're so bland. Thanalan is just nothing but an endless desert wasteland (and I'm sure that's the idea there). I'd like to see more landmarks, more structures. Ancient ruins, or signs of battles, etc. Maybe even make the villages, hamlets, etc bigger.

Basically, give these land something that makes Point A, Point B and Point C different. La Noscea had a few of those..watch towers. That's a good start there. Hell, anything could work, a derelict housing, a torn wall, etc. bottomline, make it so that the land looks a lot less, repeated and more like, actual different part of the zones.

7. Limit Breaks

Almost every FF games in the past has a form of it, why shouldn't FFXIV have it. Personally, I have no idea how it should be implemented at this time, but my main issue is that, to me, limit breaks are actions that are basically 'desperate time, desperate measures' situation. The option is there, but you don't want to waste it unless you're in trouble, and it could make or break the situation.

Basically, I want an ability that may get me out of an 'Oh crap!' situation, and it should be strictly class specific (IE can't be used by other classes), should be powerful, but rarely used. 2hr was the right idea in FFXI, but I feel it could do something better than that.

....and I ran out of ideas at this time! But yeah, that's the gist of it, maybe I'll add my other 3 idea, but basically, this is ten things you want to see in this game, period.

I have no problem bringing back working systems from FFXI, because if it ain't broke, don't fix it with something that doesn't work (or at all).
