well for 1, the person i responded to said income, not gil creation. i get income from working my job, not from printing fresh bills.

For a widely used item that drops 1 at a time, i think 300gil each isnt bad all things considering. There are things on the AH that were easier to get that cost more. but increasing a drop rate from 1-3 at a time to up to 12 is ridiculous

I realize that, it just wasn't the purpose of the OP. So, why not take advantage of the cheap prices right now ans stockpile some mats that you know will be used in furnishing crafting. This way you can make a killing once people start getting their houses. Don't be so shortsighted, think about the long term too.

This part -- Crafting and selling on the market boards is actually a gil sink. Yes, it redistributes, but it also drains gil with every sale. You may well realize that, but there are MANY people who ignore that fact. The only way to avoid that is to work with trades instead of the MB, but I for one love not having chat flooded with "WTS, WTB!" except the d-baggy "WTS ifrit/garuda/titan" furnishing pieces... and I'd love to injure those shouters.
