But it's duels. The same ones you can have in wolves' den. There's literally 0 stakes in duels lol, people just do it for fun.

Yep. No gain, no loss.
I mean that many probably don't find it fun because certain jobs are just better duelers than others.
But as you said this can already be done in the wolves' den, I don't think enabling it elsewhere would be a bad thing.

The way they design it isn’t going to work. I would like to see a Blade & Soul style, 1v1 PvP for this game, but that’s just wishful thinking.

RPR can survive that combo with arcane crest up. I don't think people realize how tanky rpr is in pvp. They suck at everything else, but they can survive better than most of the tanks.

They should give us our PvP hotbars in Island Sanctuary and allow me to enable island wide PvP.

No kidding, did the whole empowered melee combo + LB combo as a monk on one once during a Borderlands map in frontline, even knocked em off the edge of the midpoint (though not all the way down). Game's registered damage? Zero. That's right, zero damage, and they had no healer support through this as their team had ran off.

Netcode being awful to the point of disallowing players to even weave heals due to animation queue locks is one thing, but something like that is truly absurd. Was even being helped by two other people against em. Needless to say, that bubble is insanely strong despite what the tooltip indicates. Granted the tooltip doesn't factor in Frontline's quirks.

It'd be really funny if island owner could turn on PvP at will. Imagine turning a friendly gathering into Battle Royale. Would go hard
