Are you suggesting they would post on the server status on or before the servers are live on the status new postings? I have not seen such a thing before.

Either way a server status needs to actually say what servers are online in a clear visual way with auto-refresh.

All they are doing is pinging the servers to see if they are online, which they are. Just because they are online doesn't mean that SE has opened the flood gates just yet....

Because 24 hours maximum is really 25 hours possibly 26 hours. The word maximum seems to have been lost in translation somewhere.
Pinging servers would take about 3 mins maximum oops I forgot that word has many meanings :()

Yes the team working on the maintenance think 24 hours was not enough time smile . They are checking the login servers supposidly to make sure everyone can log in. Although I dont know why they need extended time for this. Oh well other games out there to play as they say.

Lodestone also has server status, and it's not "memory clogging" (wtf?) either. And probably more accurate than third party sites, maybe?
