Yeah that's what I was going to try out. See if I can keep medica II up at all times. They obviously want us to use Cure III for burst damage now where we before were using Medica II.
I do get what their thinking us but I still see us running into MP issues if we really need to use Cure III as a got to burst aoe heal and also a lot of Medica II's heals will be wasted and go into overhealing.
No one is spamming Cure II enough to actually make the 50% MP reduction count. You already need to spam Cure I to save MP for Cure II. That chain reaction is really, REALLY stupid.
It's not even only the situations where there is burst damage incoming. With the game's mechanics you simply can't risk to leave people not topped of. It's hurts my pride and freaks me out to leave my group at not optimal or full health. The game's encounter just doesn't allow for this in high end content.
I mean - even Eos will target heal group members that are below 70% and under regen..and as a mitigation for incoming burst? Yeah..no.
I would be less concerned if they adjusted Shroud of Saints to compensate for the MP issues this will most certainly create.
