Yeh that would just make more issues toward class Balance.
The fact that one ranged (brd) share LB whit healers are good, if healers die, LB3 from brd might save the day, just as melee LB can, and the blm/smn LB can.
The way LB is set up on diffrent classes atm, seems to be atleast somewhat balanced.
Judging from current tooltips alone, I'd say any future ranged classes that aren't casters are gonna share the healing limit break. Either that or they're gonna have to change the tooltip to Healers & bard from Healers and Ranged.
Tbh quite honest. Each limit should reflect its job. Not just a static Limit for every role. I really dislike the fact that bard's get a healing limit while they are not capable of healing themselves. We are support/dps, and our limit should reflect that.
So why not give each class his own limit?
War: Limit that deals damage while healing the party for a small amount (sort of leech attack)
PLD: Good is it is since that really reflects its job
WHM: Good as it is.
SCL: Defensive buff for 10/20/30 sec with a small health regen
SMR: Strong cleave between pet and summoner (strong, but require's pet+ placement?)
BLM: Fine as it is tbh.
DRG: Single Target dps with a strong DoT for several seconds
MNK: Fine as it is. Although they should change some animations. Why does a monk wield a sword?
BRD: Offensive buff, last one giving a small DoT on all mobs perhaps?
Just throwing out idea's here. But don't you think that is far better then just. Defense, Heal, and some damage?
OMG! I want to stack my party with BRDs and BLMs! PLZ give me the melee LB so I don't have to invite someone that has to press more than 3 buttons to my party!
I am pretty sure what really needs to happen with the Bard Raise LB is players should be immune to damage for 5 seconds after the animation, simply to allow for it to be useful. Its not long enough that its broken, just long enough to possibly move and continue fighting. That or the animation just needs to not exist.
