No. relic+1 is 10 level higher. relic is lv80, as moogle's.

Q29: Considering how common the relic weapons are lately, it seems like there’s no point in trying to obtain the weapons that drop from Good King Moogle Mog XII.

A29: The weapons that drop from Good King Moogle Mog XII will be item level 80. On a related note, we will be increasing the item level of the Allagan gear from ilvl 90 to ilvl 95.

Who knows... almost sounds like he is speaking about weapons.
It could have been translated better...

"relic weapon is common, so let's make it weak as moogle weapon"

Yes, its my main worry. I don't mind the new Allagan weapon to be iLv95 with better stats than a relic+1 as long as i'm given option to increase my relic+1 to +2 or something.. I just hope its not FFXI R/M/E all over again.

moogle weapon= 1 boss

and they are at the same level.

please don't say bullshit like "relic can be upgraded to +1", since it requires 3 weeks and if you upgrade your weapon you can't get the armor.

So this game still has new game smell to it and you've already got 8 relics, right? And you are surprised they could be replaced at all? Be glad you didn't buy one for 300 million gil like in FFXI only to have it replaced years later by weapons that takes a hour to get. When that happens you have valid reasoning to complain. So all of you who are bent out of shape over just the idea of your effort getting a mere FFXIV relic weapon going to waste, you better get used to it fast because there's only two ways to go on this: Constant upgrading of your weapons as the years go by, or being replaced outright. You are never going to be done with weapon upgrades.

Its nothing comparable for sure, just try to understand that some of us just got to the point of having a relic & we barely started to enjoy them, this being for multiple reasons (primary one being a new character on a Legacy server, which is a pain.)

We didn't expect relic to be outclasssed that fast (if the ILv95 apply to A weapons)

This is why its frustrating.
