Buying in bulk to save money per unit is fine the way it is. You wouldnt force Costco to sell you 5 rolls just because you dont want the whole bag. Leave the free market alone. Just kill the bots and gold sellers!
What has that got to with the free market?
Buyers get the convenience of buying what they need.
Sellers get the benefit of listing 40 different items for sale (read, more chances for sales) instead of 40 different sized stacks of 1 item.
I say this benefits everyone whether you like it or not.
Buyer, no difference. Seller, big difference.
As explained in the previous two pages, what ops propose will destroy the ability of seller to differentiate from others seller through bulk/breakbulk pricing.
And no one would buy it because they're buying individually from the discounted stack of 99 less sales.
What everyone keeps telling you is that then sellers would price everything at the per unit price, even if its in a stack of 99, because there's no reason to price any lower.
